We are thrilled to announce a Web Services Librarian Panel, which will be held on March 30th from 2-3:30PM in the main hall of Katherine Ruffatto Hall on the DU campus (this is the brand new education building and the address is below.). (We will have signs posted as to which room it will be in.)
We will be having six web services librarians from school, public, and academic librarians talk about what a web services librarian does, how one can become one, how to prepare to become one while in the LIS program, and what day-to-day experiences are in these jobs. There will be a Q&A portion of the session, so come with any questions you have. This is a wonderful opportunity to network and to learn about web work in libraries.
Our panelists will be:
Julie Bayne, Teacher Librarian at Air Academy High School in Colorado
Springs
Chris Evjy, Web Manager, Jefferson County Public Libraries
Tabatha Farney, Web Services Librarian, University of Colorado- Colorado
Springs
Deborah Hamel, Web Systems Developer, Jefferson County Public Libraries
Vivienne Houghton, Web Services Librarian, University of Colorado,
Anschutz Medical Campus
Sheila Yeh, Digital Infrastructure & Technology Coordinator, University of

For those that are unable to make it, we will be streaming the event on our Adobe Connect Page. We will post a recording of the panel discussion on this web site.
We hope to see you there!
Address is: 1999 E. Evans Ave. Denver, CO 80208-1700

When will the recording be available? Thank you!
